Plenty of Pockets Tote

I love this bag. I am going to use in when I visit Las Vegas over the holidays.  A friend gave me the fat quarters, two sets of the same ones, so I was able to make this large bag with them.

BDU Hero Bag





Fished this customer bag.  She picked out the fabric for the outside and I was able to line it as well.  This is her uniform from 10 years ago when she was in the military.  I have been so busy with holiday sewing, it has been a hectic weekend. 

Trick or Treat Bag

I made this Treat or Treat bag to sell on my Etsy side, but I think it needs something?? Right now it could be for boy or girl.  I have not made up my mind yet on what to do.  Leave it or embellish it??  Help!

Tote Bag

I bought one of those flannel backed tablecloths at Easter time for 70% off.  I used part of it to cover my dryer and made this bag for me today.  I needed a bag to carry my stuff back and forth to work and this is just right. It's not lined and the stuff does not fray.

Gathered Clutch

I made this Gathered Clutch using the pattern from http://noodleheads.blogspot.com/.  I also made one for my friend Billye in reverse colors.  I added the handle with a snap closure. 

My New Summer Bag

I made this summer bag today using Amy Butler's lotus line. There is no batting which is why I called it a summer bag.  Like how it turned out.  No pictures outside, it is raining again. 

Another Hero Bag Finished

I picked up the ABU shirt while I was in Germany visiting my daughter.  We happen to be in the Base Exchange and a woman stopped us and wanted to know where my daughter got her bag.  Later in the week we met and she gave me the shirt to make a bag for her mother.  I hope she likes it, I think it turned out great.  On to the next one.  If you are interested in ordering a "Hero Bag" in ABU, BDU, ACU, DCU please go here and we can custom make an order for you. 

New Bag Made

This pattern is from Quiltsillustrated/Penny Sturges called The Desk Deli. I made it a bag/purse instead. I love how she tapers the sides to give it a nice look. There are plenty of pockets inside as well.
