ACU Easter Basket

Made for a customer - she wanted gender neutral.  It is going to be a give away prize filled with candy.  Went out to the APO address on Monday. For all those who don't know ACU is Army uniform.

Trying to Sell the House

We are trying to sell our house and move to Portland, Oregon.  I am keeping my sewing room clean and organized it is somewhat of a pain in the ass.  When I am done working in there, I clean everything up and put away my project.  So now I don't want to sew as I don't want to pull everything out. I have a couple Etsy orders to get out this weekend.  We have "open house" on Sunday another day I can't sew.  At least we are getting people to look, which is encouraging in this market. I have received comments my sewing room is "cluttered".  There is only so much I can hide by the screen.  A girl has to have her fabric you know.

I signed up for the Quilted Basket swap on Quilting Gallery so I better get busy and make a practice one at least.

Recent creations from my sewing room - custom order for the apron and the little dress is for my granddaughter in Hawaii

Wrap & Go Carrier

I made this last weekend and just now getting around to posting it.  I didn't have the correct size casserole dish for the photo, but now I do.  This was very easy to make - I am in the process of making one for a 9x13 pan out of cupcake fabric.  Future holiday gifts with maybe a cookbook and dish inside.

Finished Wall Hangings

The top is a BOM embroiderer wall hanging I started last year.  The sunflower little wall hanging is from a Pat Sloan machine quilting book.  I went out of my comfort zone with the machine quilting.  I like how it turned out. I have two more quilt tops to quilt, kid size and one more lap size Pat Sloan one to finish.
